Join STEM Read, NIU experts, and author James Dashner for a day of hands-on activities related to the novel The Maze Runner.
Throughout the day, students will participate in a live-action game based on the novel. They will work in teams to solve challenges related to psychology, cryptology, nutrition, engineering, the science of running, and more. STEM experts will present brief talks to kick off each challenge, and the challenges will provide clues to help teams escape from an imaginary maze. The first team to solve all of the challenges and discover the key to the maze will win complete sets of James Dashner’s Maze Runner Series and other cool prizes.
